As I'm reading this, I'm reminded of the rant from Perry (at Jimmy at the time) where he says that the public needs to see their heroes at their most vulnerable so that they can feel like their heroes are human. I'm thinking about the speech from "Metallo." As I read the script, though, that's not quite what Perry said (although the circumstances are a bit different so I guess that's the reason for it). I still think it's likely that Perry would accept it and publish it.

I'm speculating, but I'm betting Lois is going to write another article at some point (whether it's with Clark's blessing or not, I don't know.) About a certain Clark Kent known to the world as "Superman." It will be interesting to see what happens afterwards.

CLARK: No. I'm just worried I'm a jinx.
JONATHAN: A jinx?
CLARK: Yeah. Let's face it, ever since she's known me, Lois's been kidnapped, frozen, pushed off buildings, almost stabbed, poisoned, buried alive and who knows what else, and it's all because of me.
-"Contact" (You're not her jinx, you're her blessing.)
