Okay, as some of you may remember I returned to IRC about a month ago and I joined a few of you in #lanekent for a brief time one evening. It was wonderful chatting with everyone and I really missed being on IRC with y'all. I don't think I've been on IRC much since L&C went off the air, and it was great!
But, I have not chatted since because ...
The morning after I installed IRC and chatted (only in #lanekent BTW, didn't go to any other rooms), my computer crashed. Yes, crashed!
My brand new laptop that I've only had for a few months bugged out on me.
Since the only thing I can figure caused this crash was installing the mIRC program, I am now completely paranoid about trying again. I don't think I have to tell y'all that this was the day from hell, and even though I'm not really sure IRC was the cause, I am just too scared to risk it again.
