So I realize that you're outraged, Kathy (and I would be too), but in a sense it IS a compliment to your writing.
Yeah, but while it may be a compliment to her writing, the person is also suggesting that Kathy is too dumb to find out that her story has been stolen.
With compliments like that, I'd rather have someone tell me I look fat today and NOT steal my work.
