Kerths 2021 - Lois & Clark Fanfic Message Boards

It is now officially December and the last month to finish up any WIPs for the 2021 Kerth Season.

The 2021 Kerth Eligible list includes all Lois and Clark fanfics completed between January 1st, 2020 - December 31st, 2020

WHAT MAKES A STORY ELIGIBLE?

Any story that’s finished and posted online by the end of a calendar year is eligible for awards. An ongoing list is kept by the KCOM of all fics posted to the message boards and the archive. The fics completed by December 31st are automatically eligible fics for the Kerths that following year.

A story can only be eligible for a Kerth Award for one Kerth year. If you don’t wish to have your fic eligible (i.e. edits, or revisions, or just not ready) send an email to the KCOM (kcom@kerthawards.com) and we’ll remove your story from the list. Keep in mind, there is a limit on when the KCOM can remove your fic from consideration. A lot of work goes into preparing each stage of the Kerths. We cannot remove a fic from consideration once nominations have begun.

If you posted a story somewhere else and wish to have it added to the list you can request it be added by sending an email to the KCOM (kcom@kerthawards.com) . We will need the following information in order to add your fic to the list:
• Title
• Author
• K-count
• Url where the fic can be found

Oh my god, thank you!

Life being what it is, I have very little time for fandom at all (two kids, third on the way, full time job in primary health care amidst Covid and vaccinations, Covid for myself earlier this year, and all the other stuff life throws at you), so I was stunned when a message came saying my little fic won not one but TWO awards. And then I see that I won Best New Author! I have followed this fandom for so, so long, being my very first fandom ever, and to even be nominated in the Kerths... Well, I obviously have trouble with my words. But thank you for everyone who read my story, and to everyone who voted, and to this wonderful fandom which just keeps being amazing year after year. I’ll try to find the time to be more active, because this fandom certainly deserves it.

Wow. Thank you! I am sitting here stunned -- feeling an odd mixture of elation and disbelief. I had been amazed that my "Mad Dog Lane" story had even been nominated; I had thought for sure it wouldn't win. THANK YOU!

Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees, and thank you to everyone who wrote stories, as well as those who read and commented on them. An especial thanks to the Kerth Committee.

As far as I am considered, we are all winners since we get to share a terrific show and fandom.

Sadly, I couldn't participate becaue it was in the middle of the night here, but my congratulations to all the winners, too. The fact that there are still Kerth Award Shows that there is still a community caring about L&C and that's great.

Wow!

I am astounded to win anything this year. Truly. I thought the competition was fierce and there were too many other excellent stories for me to hope I could eke out any kind of win. Just being nominated would have been (and certainly is) a sufficient thrill. Thank you, all of you, for all of the following things.
