Thanks to everyone who has left feedback for this story. Sorry I'm so horribly behind in replying.

I thought you'd want the next part more than my replies. smile

dance That Clark managed to convince Lois to let him stay.

It is slightly surprising that she has not focused more on his hearing her cry.

I love the dialogue.

dance that they are getting to share this meal they worked to make.

Clark should be glad he chose to make kisses now.

Okay you redeemed yourself after having Lois ask Clark to leave. LOVED this part. The mix of sweet and sexy I thought was perfect for the characters. Although I have never known Lois to turn down chocolate before. Maybe they will be chocolate covered Clark kisses ?!? Can't wait for the last (sniff sniff) part.

Banter.

Good, intelligent and well written old-fashioned banter.

The sign of an intelligent and talented writer.

It was almost like watching a couple through a window that allowed for sight and sound. I was a little embarrassed peeking in on such an intimate dinner.

The description of the meal itself was too divine to be ignored, I was so anxious to take a bite that my mouth was watering. Have you cooked such a dish yourself? Because from the delightfully skillful manner in which the preparations were written, it sounds like this recipe is a family favorite.

Speaking for myself, thank you for letting me attend this cooking lesson! thumbsup

Last part coming up...sigh. wave

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Woah! Clark gets a bit intense, doesn't he? And that doesn't scare Lois off? But I guess he's in love-at-first-sight, and she's extraordinarily impulsive. Besides, Clark just has this trustworthy vibe about him that Lois always falls for.

I totally enjoyed the banter about kisses. I've got quite the chocolate craving now, thanks to you. smile

"It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then...he shoots fire from the skies, and it is difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him." -Batman (in Superman/Batman #3 by Jeph Loeb)

dance Woo-woo! Love this! The flirty banter was great, as was Clark insisting he stay for her. Just perfect! Can't wait to find out what happens next and yet I don't want the story to end...

Clark's smile flickered. "Actually, I was thinking you should let me choose the woman for me to date."
- Pick me!!! Pick me!!!!

Clark let her hand slide slowly from his grasp. "I'll be waiting for you," he said.
- AAAAAAAAWWWWWW.......!!!!!

"You like chocolate?" he asked.
"It's my favourite food."
His smile came with soft satisfaction. "That's good."
Unable to resist, Lois asked, "You're not going to ask if I like kisses?"
Clark cleared his throat. "No," he said. "I'm not going to ask that."
"Pity," she said.
"Would I like the answer?"
"Depends on whether you like kisses or not."
- Teasing, Lois? Wooooooo!!! I see some kisses in your future!!

I Love this couple!!

Clark: "So what are you saying? I should go crawling back on my hands and knees?"
Martha: "No, honey. Fly back. It's faster!!"
