Clark turned to see a look of disbelief cross Luthor’s features. He leaned in close to his nemesis. “No more kids, Luthor...”
Luthor looked at him, gulped, and nodded. A second truce was forged in their war. Weee!!! GGGoH Cat rolled her eyes. “The man's a super-hero, Jimmy, not a dog.” She departed.
Jimmy looked apologetically to Clark. “I didn’t think she would manage to turn it on, CK...”
Clark scanned the area then said in a low voice. “Jay heard it at his house, Jimmy. So it has quite a range... but that hurt close up...”
<Your girlfriend wins though...>
<What?!>
<That whistle thing you do for taxis... It *hurts*!>
<Um... oops?> That's hilarious Liked the added Martha-stuff and I'm still saying they got off too easy on the two-rooms thing /buckles in for an entertaining ride/ Michael

Glad to see that Lois didn't humiliate herself in front of Martha and Jonathan this time (the fax, the cross-dressing cook.) Now I'm wondering how the whole Trask and kryptonite thing will play out.
Looking forward to more!

I like the truce aspect of the end of Smart Kids. Lex certainly believes that this Superman is no one to take lightly and that a threat may have very real consequences.
I like the fact that they go to Smallville looking for Trask. That connection was too obvious to miss.
I miss the "cross dresser" line although obviously it wouldn't work now. Same with the Fax comment. I was sort of wondering if Martha would be more forward with some kind of line or question along the lines of "Do you two still need separate rooms?" However, that wouldn't be realistic and it wouldn't be Martha. (But it would have been funny.) So I like your decisions on how to play Smallville day one. It fits well within the rest of your story arc.

Nice! loving the story and sorry for not leaving feedback more regularly. So if and when Kryptonite rears its ugly head, are both of them going to be exposed? And if events are similar to that in GGGoH, we don't have Rachel with a gun, but there is a Sheriff Harris for rescuing, right? Although, there's always Jay. Looking fwd to next part.
If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

Ok, finally caught up with this. WOW! WOW!!! I'm really liking this story. Looking forward to more soon. I do like that Clark doesn't back down to Luthor. However, Luthor does seem to be a bit of a wuss... James

Lieta seems to have disappeared sometime around March 4 or so. I got a note from her about a story idea on March 3 and haven't heard from her since.
I have tried both private messages and email but there has been no reply to either.

Michael, couldn't you supply us with a fix or two? Even privately?

I heard from Lieta today. She has had a number of crazy/distracting/??? real life issues but she is planning on being back before too much longer and "Coin" will continue. Bob

I'm glad. I've missed this story.

So great to hear she's back from being MIA As for the fix-bit: I don't believe giving the next part or two away before she's ready to post would be a good idea Michael
