Very good story.

To bad it is only a one-shot. I could see Lois patiently observing Clark or at least try to get her answers. It definitely would be a fun read.

Or maybe do a sequel????

Hi Nan,

Such a lovely little insert for this episode. It could have so easily happened that way. wink

It was a delight to read.

That was a gorgeous little vignette, I love the way you pen Lois' internal dialogue.

You've captured a wonderful sense of season 1, top banana Lois -- at the pre-realisation of feelings for Clark, but recognition that the seed of something is there stage -- in such a short but insightful (and fun!) piece of writing... although I echo the above sentiments, it seems to be begging for continuation, I would love to see this Lois again... pretty please grovel

All right... all right... but apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths and public order... what have the Romans done for us?

Nice little tale. Lois was so close to discovering a secret she doesn't even know exsists.

This was great, but I agree with everyone else - I'd love to see more of this.

That was fantastic.... but.... but... but..... it needs more....

I'd love to see how you make Lois watch Clark for the 'signs'... whether Clark catches on, and eventually who gives up their knowledge (or secret) first...

Please write more... pretty please... with lots of sugar on top????

Loved it Nan but does it have to be the end. It seems more like chapter one of a good long fic. Laura

Is it "The End"??? Don't worry guys, this is Nan Smith we're talking about wink She's the sequel/series queen!

Nan, this was delightful. And I would definitely enjoy seeing this develop.

He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."
