She'd never let him say goodbye. Never let him speak his final words. And her life, since then, had been about him. Had been lived for him.

The man who'd died in her arms. The man whose last gentle smile had been for her.
This... Dave!!! I really am at a loss for words. It's just so heart-breaking and fantastic. So truly sad. And hauntingly beautiful. The whole thing. mecry Nice!!

Oh...Dave. You break my heart. Watch LabRat's bottom lip wobble dangerously.

whinging

Now this is a beautiful, wonderful example of my very favourite kind of deathfic. The story that tells me that even death is no barrier to the love that Lois and Clark share and that somewhere they will continue on together, even after the end has come. A story about death. But also about hope. And love everlasting.

Just the way it should be. jump

Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly.
Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

I thought it was a very sweet story, a great sequel.

Lois had gone on, but had never forgotten about Clark...but then again, who could?

I loved it.

Bravo

Oye!

Are the bottoms of your boots a bit slippery there, Dave? Because I'm sure there's more heart bits under there...

Again, beautiful piece here. Great, but sad, example of how Clark has impacted her life during such a short time.

And the end's KINDA WAFFy if you squint laugh

Mmm cheese.

I vid, therefor I am.

The hardest lesson is that love can be so fair to some, and so cruel to others. Even those who would be gods.

Anne Shirley: I'm glad you spell your name with a "K." Katherine with a "K" is so much more alluring than Catherine with a "C." A "C" always looks so smug.

Dave,
That was beautiful, even if I am now a puddle of goo on the floor. Thanks for sharing that. I like that in the end, we see their love overcoming death.

Aww,

this is so nice.

As LabRat said - love how this shows the strength of their love. Even if they lost their chance in this world, they'll be together in heaven.

love
