Lois has a secret identity – she’s Superman’s wife. Married to Clark but supports and comforts the hero and gives him a safe place to go. She’s a large part of the reason he doesn’t burn out.

Problem – Lois starts to burn out. Too many nights alone, too many bad excuses for Clark’s absences both at work and with their friends, too much verbal dancing around the truth with her family, too much pressure on her to parent the kids by herself, it wears on her and she snaps.

Interesting, no? Anyone want to take a run at this one? I don't have the time to develop the idea properly.

Ooh, this sounds angsty! Are you sure you're not going to give it a shot?

Thanks for the encouragement, but I'm not able to tackle this one right now. I'm still nursing Going Home to full exposure.

This is open for anyone to grab and run with. Even if I did pick it up, my take would be different from anyone else's. So go for it!

Okay, this is not going to be quite as long as Terry probably had in mind. But it was nagging me, and he never actually requested a long fic.

Here's my attempt Another Kind of Superhero
