Everyone makes errors sometimes; it's no cause for mockery.

That being said, there are errors in the episode scripts, so it's time for some mockery!

I mentioned before how a couple of episodes unwittingly gave Lois a brother. Skimming through I've Got A Crush on You turned up the glorious majesty of LEX LEATHER, whose hidden dark side may be a lot kinkier than we realized. Also, The Ides of Metropolis insists that writing literally "malts" on a screen, which sounds quite tasty.

So...the challenge: Write a story based around a script mistake. It can be one of the ones mentioned, or you can look for another. It could be a typo, a continuity flub, or anything that stands out as not belonging in a final draft. If you're not up to writing a full story, feel free to just find more errors for the pile or discuss ways you'd interpret them. smile

Don't have one for L&C, but there's a real stinker for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - at one point they say that Sarah has type O blood and John Connor is AB. If that's taken literally he cannot possibly be her son - he could be A or B but not AB since she doesn't carry the A or B genes - which makes the whole "mother of the saviour of the human race" thing a bit suspect.
