“Boy, is she mad at you,” Bruce said, turning to Clark with a smirk. The teasing between these two is hysterical given the fact that Bane or Jason could come back at any moment and crush them like bugs. “More like Spitfire,” Clark quipped.
“I like it,” Bruce replied.
“Is this really what you should be focusing on?” LOL at this exchange.  Spitfire to the rescue! Great chapter as always.

“Is this really what you should be focusing on?” LOL at this exchange. Spitfire to the rescue! Great chapter as always. Hi, Val!  You know, it was just such a dark sequence to write and I figured Bruce and Clark would be like "Imminent death? Typical day for us" that they'd be reveling in the fact that they get to kick butt side by side again. And with them being old friends and living under the same roof for so long, the banter would be inevitable. Too bad Clark has the axe of Lois' anger over his head to appreciate it as much as he should be. Poor Lois. Stuck in a life or death situation with basically two frat boys guarding her life!

Clark and Bruce are lucky Lois came to save them. Looking forward to the next chapter. And now two superheroes are in her debt. Not a bad position to be in.
