You know, it was just such a dark sequence to write and I figured Bruce and Clark would be like "Imminent death? Typical day for us" that they'd be reveling in the fact that they get to kick butt side by side again. And with them being old friends and living under the same roof for so long, the banter would be inevitable. Too bad Clark has the axe of Lois' anger over his head to appreciate it as much as he should be.
Poor Lois. Stuck in a life or death situation with basically two frat boys guarding her life!
