What a sad chapter. Clark feeling horribly guilty and not letting Lois in. Well done!

Thank you for the feedback. It is going to get sadder before it gets better. I had quite a bit of help on this chapter.

I am hoping to have another chapter this time next week or sooner if I have time. I am working on two stories at once and I like to post each story at least once a week.

How much of a lunkhead will Clark be before someone knocks some sense into him? At least I see season three Lois fighting for them where as a season one or two may not have.

No. He couldn’t let that happen. He would do everything he could to make sure the family farm –his dad’s legacy-- stayed in the family. No matter what it took, he wouldn’t let his family lose everything.

Drat that pesky super-hearing!

As always, Martha is as always a realist.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Yes, how much of a lunkhead will Clark be. Let's count the ways.

Yes, she is the realist. She is going to end up talking to him eventually.
