The boards have been fairly quiet lately, so I was hoping a silly challenge might perk things up a bit. Your mission -- should you choose to accept it -- is to come up with the title for a silly L&C crossover. You don't need to write the story itself, unless you wish to. The crossovers may be with other shows, with books, movies, art... you name it.

The Harlem Globetrotters vs. Superman
Lois & Clark and Lewis & Clark
World of ClarkCraft
Flight of the Clarklebee
Lois & Clark In M. C. Escher - land
Lois & Clark in Candyland
Portrait of Dorian Kent
Lois & Clark through the Looking Glass
Jurassic Clark

Next?

What fun. (Superman vs. Godzilla was sort of, almost canon. Well, OK, it was more like Superman and Godzilla vs. Lois Lane, but who's counting?)

I especially love "Lois and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day." That was one of my favourite books as a child, and thoughts of it still brighten my mood a bit when I am having one of those days.

And in the realm of children's books, how about: Clark Kent Hears a Who

Write Anything ('Say Anything')

A quick 'ode' to the romantic comedies I know and love wink...

Great idea, Lynn!

I'd read these! laugh Although, the last one might have to be switched to "You've Got Tights?!"

This would might have to be Nfic. wink

Great titles.

I still like the crossover idea of LnC meets Rocky Horror.

I don't have any good title ideas of my own. Titles aren't my forte.

Thanks, Laura. blush

I can think of a plot for "While You were Flying" (one of my favorite movies, BTW, is While You were Sleeping... you had some good choices on your list.) While Superman was busy saving the world (i.e. flying), Lois falls in love with her ordinary, sweet, lovable partner -- Clark. Although, I'm not quite sure how Clark will be in both places at once. UNLESS he's recovering from a Kryptonite exposure, so Superman tells Clark (perhaps it would be better if he told Lois, so Superman doesn't leave without saying goodbye) that he will be off planet for an undesignated amount of time. Meanwhile, Clark is more inept while adapting to his powers-free life and the not-worrying about endangering Lois (and his family) gives Clark the freedom to pursue Lois romantically. [Linked Image] It has possibilities.

Yeah, it does! notworthy

Write this--or somebody definitely should! 'While You Were Sleeping' is at the Very Top of my 'Favorite Movies Ever' list. It's so light, so fun (and funny), so completely enjoyable. Practically the whole thing is memorized, word for lovely word grin help grin.

Combining a favorite movie plot with a favorite subject (L&C)--pure bliss smile.

DalekDoh, welcome to the boards and thank you for joining in this discussion. smile

Laura, you and I have decidedly similar tastes in shows. (Although I must admit that I have yet to watch Sleepless in Seattle. One of these days, though... Perhaps when I retire and have some free time.)

Annie, 50 Shades of Luthor? shock

Virginia, "You've Got Tights" is brilliant.

How about the following?
PygmaLane (with apologies to G.B. Shaw, of course)
Take the Last Train to Loisville (Well, the Monkees already sang about Clarksville...)
Clark Kently's Holistic Detective Agency (a cross between L&C and a Douglas Adams mystery/comedy)
Superdog (A Superman/Underdog crossover, not to be confused with the you-have-to-see-it-to-believe-it The Adventures of Superpup)

'Take the Last Train to Loisville'--I have had that melody in my head all evening, Lynn clap clap clap. Love it!

Definitely see 'Sleepless in Seattle' sometime, someday, when you get the chance. Quite romantic love.

Great thread,
Laura

Some more Harry Potter variants:

Harry Potter and the Kryptonian Clone
Harry Potter and the Fortress of Solitude
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Arkham
(also a Batman crossover - I'll be amazed if someone hasn't already used this title... apart from earlier in this thread, which I somehow missed before I posted)
etc.

Lex and the City
Live and Lex Die
Lex and the Single Reporter
etc.

Daily Planet of the Apes
Pulp Krypton
The Usual Supervillains
Dr. Kline or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Kryptonian

Star Wars: A New Kryptonian
Star Wars: Lexcorp Strikes Back
Star Wars: Return of the something that relates to Superman and rhythms with Jedi (sorry, I have no idea!)

Amazingly, considering how many crossovers I've written, I haven't written any of these yet...
