In "Illusions of Grandeur" Cat lets her inner exhibitionist out earlier and ends up married to Arthur Chow. When someone (Luthor) goes after Arthur she calls on Lois & Clark for help investigating.

Are you giving a story idea? I'm assuming that's what it is since Cat never married Arthur Chow. It does sound like a potentially interesting story.

This is why I can come up with ideas but not actually write anything. Yes the idea came to me and I posted it hoping to inspire someone.

Sounds like a fine plan. I'd love to see Cat a little more mature, though. Maybe she even turns out to be a talented investigator herself?

Cat never struck me as stupid. A bit shallow and self centered but smart. So a marriage that works much better than people thought it would and her going to L&C with a list of what's happening and evidence that it is not coincidence asking for help saving her husband.

No, Cat never struck me as stupid, either. In fact, I wrote an older Cat and older Jimmy as a married couple. And Cat wasn't writing for the gossip column anymore. wink

Bumping this. Did anyone ever write this?

CLARK: No. I'm just worried I'm a jinx.
JONATHAN: A jinx?
CLARK: Yeah. Let's face it, ever since she's known me, Lois's been kidnapped, frozen, pushed off buildings, almost stabbed, poisoned, buried alive and who knows what else, and it's all because of me.
-"Contact" (You're not her jinx, you're her blessing.)

I don't think so, no.
