So, a simple question (mostly for female fans  ): Do you think Dean Cain looks better as Clark or as Superman? Or maybe you just can't decide? We're talking just for the LOOKS (major differences can be found in the glasses and the hair), not for the attitude, the dressing style or anything else. So??? See ya. AnnaBtG. P.S.:I prefer Clark.

Definitely as Clark. Superman's hair is a little too greasy <g> Also, for me, part of what makes someone attractive is the expressions on their face -- and Clark was able to show a wider range, since Superman was supposed to be stoic sometimes.

Clark! *sigh* I love his ties! <g> Superman just couldn't pull off those ties. LOL. And, as Pam said, Clark was able to pull off more facial expressions, especially with Lois.

I wish I could choose... I know, I have to be different  Clark is wonderfully, slurpily yummy, but Supes has this indefinable... something... about him. Maybe it's the Suit, letting you see all the... bulges... he so deliciously shows in it - and you gotta admit, as Clark, the journalist suits and stuff are a lot less revealing... I don't know. But Deano pulls them both off fantastically, if you ask me. Melisma (... trying to remember that this is *supposed* to be a PG list, here under her Rock  ) EDITED July 4...

ROTFL, Jose! For me, definitely Clark. I always thought that that slicked-back look with the hair never really suited Dean, it was too severe for his face. My favourite look is Clark sans glasses - when he always looked at his most vulnerable or little boy cute. Second is Clark with glasses and very much last on the list comes Superman, every time. Definitly as Clark. As Clark Dean looks much more `normal`and down to earth. Not only does Superman have glitch-hair but also is stlye to dress a litte...weird sunshine

Well, put it this way: I would probably have a Superman poster up on the wall, but be curling up on the couch with Clark. Cuter, more personable, and guaranteed for a laugh. Can you really say that about Big Blue?

I voted Clark because Superman just doesn't do anything for me - can't get excited about all that spandex and slicked-back hair. Any guy would look better as Clark than as Superman as far as I'm concerned.
That said, I think DC makes one of the best Supermen I've seen. I can appreciate the look in an intellectual kind of a way, even if it doesn't set my heart racing.

Hmm... let me say (as an "underager" myself) that, nowadays, every kid 12+ years old can understand "references" like these, and they would not feel offended. (And I do not believe that there are FoLCs under than 12 years old here) But, for the sake of the boards, maybe we all should be more "careful". AnnaBtG. P.S.: Thank you for responding. I'm with Jose. Neither Clark nor Superman does a thing for me, but if I were to choose I'd say Clark. I've always liked the GQ look. Maybe the guys should hold their own poll. Does Lois look better in mini skirts or pants suits?

I'm 23 and an nfic writer, and I was offended. I have also heard from many, many people today who were upset by this comment - most of them well above "the age of consent." As for the underage issue, it's not a matter of whether they feel offended reading it, it's a legal matter about whether they are *allowed* to read it. And references like this push the legal limits. We don't want to take any chances on things like this. Annie
