Did you know that with a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard you can surf the net very comfortably with a newborn asleep in your arms? Especially if the computer is still set up on the coffee table. I'm *very* happy to be off bed rest, but I just might leave the computer right where it is.

Nathaniel was born on Friday afternoon. He's healthy--I'm healthy and sleep deprived. And I love my eighteen year old dd who cleaned the entire house while we were in the hospital. She even made my bed.

This *is* my happily ever after.

Congratulations! May Nathaniel have a long, happy, and healthy life!

I must admit to wanting to lapse into an earlier fandom of mine to say, "May he live long and prosper," but to stick to FoLCdom...May his life be super!

Joy,
Lynn

Aren't wireless peripherals great? You can even nurse while using them once you get the hang of things.

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Congrats!! I like the name too, but I may be partial since my son's name is the same wink

Although at 22 months Nathaniel has become his "you're-in-trouble" name dizzy ,mostly we call him Nathan

Take care of yourself, and your newest addition...and I agree with PP - having a built-in babysitter must be great, but since I was 10 when my sister was born, it's sometimes easy to forget they are above-all the sibling first. wink
