Yep, lovely little sequel, although I prefer the first fic as a standalone. And yes, all my favorite lines have already been quoted. Except for "pumpkin." He's never going to get away with that twice. goofy

Lois: You know the deal.
Clark: Superman gets the guys in capes, Lois and Clark get the guys in suits.

Add about 80 more chapters and make this an epic. More to be told, and you tell so well!!!!

But grudgingly agree that it's okay to leave it at this too... if you want to... I guess...

Wow, again -- thanks for the responses, FOLCs smile

I firmly believed this sequel was not needed. Absolutely, positively, in no way necessary, because the first was so unique, how could you match it?
Yeah, CC, that was my position, too, but then those darned ideas started pestering me again... smile

I'm really tickled everybody liked the answering machine line help peep

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.

Ya know, I keep reading stories where Alt Lois doesn't like Alt Clark. I wonder why not. But HERE, HERE we see the REAL Lois, the one she is really deep down inside. She falls for Superman when she sees him on tv the first time. Just like our Lois does. Only she gets to go for the guy at his office cos she already knows who he is. It sure saves a lot of time and angst. My kind of story!

I think if I just pasted every sentence as my favorite line, it would suffice, don't you think?

Excellent sequel. I'll just keep checking the boards to see part three when it arrives!

It's always such an embarrassment. Having to do away with someone. It's like announcing to the world that you lack the savvy and the finesse to deal with the problem more creatively. I mean, there have been times, naturally, when I've had to have people eliminated, but it's always saddened me. I've always felt like I've let myself down somehow.
