I read a story quite awhile ago about an alternate universe where Lois & Clark were doctors and Clark still found time to rescue people and then Lois found out and thought he was such a good guy and of course they feel in love...I can't remember any more of the story though sorry.

This sounds like Lifeflight by Raconteur. It's a 3 part series.

Thanks...I could have sworn the author's name started with an r...I think I've only read the first one too so I have a lot to catch up on.

I'm back again looking for more help.

1. I think this story takes place in the alter. universe. Lois and Clark get married and they rehearse for a public wedding. With Lois marrying superman, of course. Anywho, during the rehearsal they pratice their exit... Superman floating up with Lois in his arms and she passes out (I think she might be pregnant).

2. Sam Lane comes to town on some special occasion (valentine's or Lois' Birthday) and Lois breaks her date to spend time with Sam. Sam never shows up and Clark is there to help Lois pick up the pieces.

3. Story starts off with Clark lying in bed watching a documentary on babies/child birth when Lois walks in. They take a trip to Smallville, and Clark shares his frustrations about children with his dad. I think Lois thinks she might be pregnant, but she later finds out she is not and by the end of the story she wants to have kids. Very vague... I know , it has been a VERY long time since I read this story.

But now I have another scene on my mind: Lois and Lucy go to a dinner date with their father; it's a difficult situation, but at the end Lois opens the cab' door, stops, and gives Sam a hug. Next time Lois and Lucy go to another appointment with Sam, but he doesn't show up.
Do you remember this one or I dreamt of it?
