Thanks, Iolanthe! That quote you pulled was actually one of my favorites, though in a harsh kind of way. Writing Lois and Clark arguing is not one of my favorite things, and I had a lot of trouble getting this exchange perfect -- but I watched Tempus Fugitive, and that line is something I wanted Clark to tell Lois so bad that I had to put it here. And yeah, lots of bitterness!
