My internet connection is so spotty I have to formulate posts and then paste them in during the brief flashes of connectivity (when I can't get to a wifi cafe, that is). Thanks for your very thoughtful comments. I agree that having Jon in danger is more than enough of a motivator for these two to do the impossible. As you'll see in the next part however, there might be some factors that complicate the immediate and sudden desire that anyone whose child was endangered would have to get justice (or retribution) against the person who'd tried to harm that child.
