When I first read this line: "I must be an irresistable drunk," I *thought* it said, "I must be an irresistable hunk." Both are true, but I was thinking, 'Geez, Clark, even drunk you wouldn't be *that* full of yourself.'

The final lines about promising to tell him again if he forgets make the scene in front of the Planet even more poignant. He *really* should have let her go first. (Hence the title, I know.)
