Good instalment. As others have said you present a nice diversity of story here. We get a sampling of the feelings Lois and Clark have for each other then it gets contrasted by the menace of Luthor.
And we know what he wants.
Lot's of potential here. Good cliffhanger, but let's investigate what we have.
Lois, at Luthor's mercy. Clark is coming but he has no powers. Luthor has a gun. Any bets as to who winds up dead?
Tank (who thinks that at least one of our infatuated duo needs to sacrifice him/herself for the other)
