This part was just torture to read!! And you know I mean that in the best way possible. You can't *not* read it, as much as you want to skip over it. Why is that? Well, I think because it's so well-written. It's believable. Life ain't perfect, and it's not realistic for Lois to just tell him off and leave. You've made me believe she really had to... well, you know. whinging
