Loved this. Strangely enough, I never bought that Clark was actually asleep in that scene in the car. I kind of reluctantly accepted that he was after reading so much fanfiction.
But I don't think I've ever come across a fic that adresses this particular issue.
I like how you have Lois deal with her fear and her grief and Clark with his guilty conscience. And the revelation was great - the anger directed at himself for deceiving her. The way he jumped from podestal Lois had placed him on.
