And our discussion has helped me reorder my expectations so maybe I can enjoy the show instead of endlessly waiting for character development that never happens. I did google early in the show to see what he looked like as Superman, but learned that he's never shown in the suit. That had to be a major grr for the fans, but it let me know to not expect it.
