Great part! All of those feelings are out there. Lord Lane knows about Clark and Lois, and yet doesn't seem upset and is valuing and trusting Clark. Maybe he could grant Clark a knighthood for bravery if he helps bring down Luther? Make him a noble so he can be worthy of Lois' hand in marriage.
