At least 4 or 5 of the stories are rather short. I do have a leg up in that I wrote one of the longer ones, but even with my writing schedule I plan to try to read as many as I can.
I love your definition of "short", Ken. Only 2 of these stories are under 50K and the other 7 aren't. I guess, technically, the next two are under 200K (if we use the Kerth Award definition for mid-length category.) Then the next two are almost 400K and the 2 after that are over 500K, (which makes those 4 long to epic sized), and we'll just not mention mine.
LLF has two categories for fanfic of the month for discussion: under 50K (short) and over 51K (long). I was using LLF's definition to make my recommendations.
