In my
Supergirl Returns series Lois and Clark took care not to be the first to interview Linda on her return to Earth - they made sure that they couldn't be there when she was available, and got Cat Grant to do it instead. They also made sure that Linda wasn't around in Metropolis until several months after Supergirl reappeared, to avoid a repeat of the "Superman appears the same day Clark arrives" association.
One reporter you've overlooked, though a little older -
Sarah Jane Smith. She's born in 1951 in
Doctor Who canon, so about 46 when Superman first appears, and specialises in weird science, aliens, etc. so probably a natural for an interview.
I have her as a friend of Clark's family in my series, though I've never explained it she probably found out who he was using her alien technology, and decided to help occasionally with alibis etc.
