@mike: but all the bad guys would have to do is read the comics right? The government is already trying to duplicate kryptonite. So unless Kara's powers are significantly different from the comics, I can't see her abilities staying quiet. I think there just was not any good planning on the bad guys side (luckily for Kara and co.)
