Just one other thought. How is Clark going to explain the lack of a scar after a heart transplant? He is never going to go shirtless in front of anyone but Lois and their parents again? He will have to be careful not to slip up and forget. Sounds like Lois would like him to have a scar to remind the two of them of this experience.

I'm actually leaving him with a faint scar. (You'll see in the next chapter.) I thought it would be cool/evil/sad for him to have that constant reminder that his friend died but was about to save his life in doing so. (Clark's not happy about the reminder, now he's barely speaking to me.)
