Produced by Bruce Timm and Zach Snyder, this was meant to celebrate and homage a good deal of the Superman mythos and history. I thought it was really well done artistically but was rather iritated by their decision to cut out Dean Cain but leave in the Super Friends cartoon (which was only on for one season.) 75 years of Superman short. Some of the commenters are claiming the reason Lois and Clark wasn't referenced was that there wasn't a clear iconic moment.
CLARK: No. I'm just worried I'm a jinx.
JONATHAN: A jinx?
CLARK: Yeah. Let's face it, ever since she's known me, Lois's been kidnapped, frozen, pushed off buildings, almost stabbed, poisoned, buried alive and who knows what else, and it's all because of me.
