I've shared my misgivings about MoS, but I am happy to report that I've found something that sounds promising. I saw in this article that director Zack Snyder indicated that they wanted to make Superman a character that the audience would be able to relate to. He said,

The big challenge, of course, is if you can make people feel, `What would you do it you were Superman? How would you feel?

How to make it personal? I think that's the thing we went after.
I'm hoping that this translates into Clark being the real persona and Superman the disguise. I'm also hoping that they don't translate this into an angst-fest. At least it is appears near-certain that the movie won't be just a slug-fest, and for that I am grateful.
