Great poll, Lynn!
Although I have to write in silence, or with ear plugs in when it is noisy in the house, I have a whole file of mp3s labeled Muse-ic. It's mostly love songs that I associate with L&C, for example, some of the songs from the music videos are a favorite to get in the mood. And often songs like 'Starwood in Aspen' are added because I've enjoyed the story so much.
But after the mood is achieved, it's back to blessed silence.
