I just thought of something else which has always bothered me about this episode. How did Lois and Clark rent a car in 1966 Smallville? They don't have 1960's driver's licenses. They don't even have 1960's CASH. Any money they spent was probably minted in the 1980s. Wouldn't any self-respecting bank teller notice the "phony" money floating about?
