I know a tiny bit about Little League. Yes, they only play six innings (as opposed to nine in the major and minor leagues).
Also, at least in the LL games I've been to, there is a "mercy rule" - if your team is beating the other by 10 or more runs, and you've played at least 4 innings, the other team automatically loses to spare them from having to drag out the whole thing for another two innings.
