Wouldn't Little League games have modified rules to save the parents from this situation
As you know, I'm the wrong person to ask sports-related questions, but I can say that I noticed the scoreboard only had slots for six innings, as opposed to baseball's usual nine innings. I don't know whether that is an accurate depiction of a little League scoreboard or whether the cartoonist did that merely to make the cartoon more legible. Perhaps someone who actually knows something about Little League baseball could answer your question.
