I totally agree with you. It's one of a couple of bits that I wasn't entirely happy with. For the purposes of this little challenge, I think we ought to pretend that Lois had taken some very strong sleeping tablets
. If I were to flesh this out into a story, I probably would have Lois rush over to Clark's instead.
And, on a side note, has anyone ever written a story where Clark believed Cat when she told him they were seeing each other?
