We all know the story. A family of in-explicably white aliens sends their son to Earth, where he lands in America's heartland and is raised by farmers.
But you know, it could have been so different. What if Clark had landed in...oh, say, England? Or greece? Or Australia? What if he was found by a family of Jews? Or Catholics? What if he grew up in the city? What if he was black?
Yes, you've heard of this sort of thing; it's called Elseworlds, and it's been done.
My challenge, though, is not just to write a generic elseworlds. I want to see what would have happened if Kal-El had been raised in *your* culture.
Who knows? Maybe your next-door neighbor has been hiding something from you!
