What was great about this one, Wanda, was the twist at the end.
I've seen things that call themselves drabbles -- and, no, I'm
not going to say
where I saw them! -- that are really nothing more than a couple of disjointed paragraphs, strong on atmosphere but weak on everything else.
This one, though, hits all the right notes; it works really well. Nicely done!
