Nah, I don't think so. Otherwise how could he spend a whole night in the cockpit and wake up feeling better than the previous day? And where was the intense pain that usually accompanies kryptonite exposure?

Anyway, good stuff, Nan. As you said in another thread, you made excellent use of their long walk to advance the B plot. All the time, Lois is understanding more and more about Clark, and this can only be a very good thing. Sweet ending, too.

Another good instalment. Nice waffy scenes between Lois and Clark.

I am concerned about the 'illness'. If Clark just gets better as they go along, it kind of makes the whole rigamarole they went through over it rather trivial and pointless. We need to find out exactly what the mystery illness was and why Clark had it. Even if it was only the flu and his reaction was so severe because it was his first exposure. The fact that you brought it up in the first place means that it has to have some significance... right?

Well, the only thing I can say about that is that it's connected to the reason his powers haven't come back, and won't for a while, so I guess you could say that it's important to the story. I've always thought that Clark's powers being gone for extended periods without a good reason was kind of stretching things, so I wanted to supply one.
