I have to assume that this Lois, if she dresses like a man, and plays hard, and works hard, like the men, she probably also has a short hair cut. It would be more practical given her employment as a ranch hand rather than a 'domestic' like Cat. Tank (who thinks that the instalments could be just a teeny bit longer)
