I've been gone for a bit but wanted to pop in and say I can't wait. ^_^ I'm glad to see this one finished and I'm glad to see Sue up and posting again.
^_^
We missed you.

Sue, I absolutely love this story (and all of your stories).
That last scene was so heartbreaking and gorgeous. I can't wait to see how this all ends.

I know this thread isn't for my story, but I get so excited when lurkers post that I couldn't help myself. Hi, Pivoine. And I am anxiously awaiting the last part, too. If you recall, I told my hubby, "I know you don't read WIPs, but there is only one part left. Surely, if we read one part a night the last part will be posted before we even get there." Elisabeth

Oooo! I get so excited when I see lurkers popping up too! Hi and thanks to both Pivoine and VisionGirl! I just got an email from DJ. I sent her the last part again yesterday but she didn't get it until this morning. So it's however long she takes plus how long I sit and stress about it. Once the nausea passes, I'll post. Hopefully that will be today.
Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.
Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right. Ides of Metropolis

All right... all right... but apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths and public order... what have the Romans done for us?

OMG Pass the sick bag! I'm so excited. No more waiting! Hooray!! The sooner you post Sue, the sooner the nausea will disappear. Rip the band aid already! The truth is nobody cares if it's not perfect, we just need our obsession fed. Hurry up. Chop chop. I'm waiting...

AAARGH! HELP! I've just had a frightening thought. Er, Sue, please don't make me beg or anything(I'm not above it you understand, just shamefully out of practice), but on behalf of all we obsessives who aren't in your part of the world, PLEASE PLEASE post ASAP. I don't want to have to go to bed another night wondering what happens (yes, I had a little melodrama with my coffee this morning.) OK, so we all know they get rescued and presumably no-ones going to die, but my imagnation extends no further than that. And seriously, one month is long enough to make us wait. You have five hours. The clock's ticking... (am not above threatening either)
