“Hey there, big boy? Watcha doin’ in my neck of the woods?” came a sultry, feminine voice.

I glance across the room from me. There before me is the most exquisite female form I’ve ever known. Wow! That body! So well-formed, so... ample. Her coloring was unlike anything I had ever seen before. I found myself gaping at her when she spoke again.

“Um, did you hear me? I asked what you were doing here?” Oh, that voice. It was so alluring, so... seductive. Gah, what is wrong with me? Get a grip!
Ohh, that was delightful! Lois and Clark are going on their honeymoon, and their *bags* are going to have a good time together, too! Imagine, by the way, what compliment a male bag can pay a female bag - she's so exquisitely formed, so ample! Reminds me of a Swedish song from the 1960s about two amorous boats, who do all sorts of necking and petting - taking off their sails and what not - until finally they have their own little dinghy, bobbing after them on an umbilical cord, making baby boat sounds! goofy

So... happy honeymoon, Clark, Lois, Ruby and Indigo! goofy

Thank you so much for the comments and feedback. I wasn't sure how well this story would be received.

But as I was sitting, watching, and waiting to claim my luggage at the airport, I thought "hmm, could I write a story about a suitcase?" So I did.

I was especially inspired to write one, dedicated to my suitcase in particular, since it got a pretty bad roughing up by the baggage handlers at the airport. They broke a picture I had bought in New York (even though I had wrapped and secured it very well). Oh well... live and learn... next time I'll carry it on.

You guys are great though! Thanks for the fdk! smile1

Aww! Thanks for the compliment Nan! It's surprising where you find inspiration sometimes. laugh Glad you liked it. Thanks for the fdk!

Classicalla -

Ha ha! Oh no! Poor baby. Hmm, that sounds like that could be a good story in of itself.

What do our pets think of our crazy LNC habits (watching and rewatching DVD's - reading/writing fanfic, maybe the noise of the keyboard - going around quoting our favorite lines?) Someone should write that, probably not me, but someone. wink

Thanks for the fdk!

Aww thanks. It was just a short little piece of fluff - something to take my mind off of "Novel" for a little bit. But it sure was fun. Glad you enjoyed it! laugh

Oh, wow. I missed this when it was posted here, but what fun! Can't tell you how many places had me giggling.

I think my favorite parts were "get a grip" and "Nothing inside? That would be disappointing."

Yeah, I hate an empty suitcase. laugh

And this:

Quote
"You're kidding! You really don't know? Wow! Where have you been the past couple of years?"

"Ugh. Locked away. Don't get me started," I tell her, hearing the frustration in my voice.

She's quiet for a few minutes. When she finally speaks again, her voice is soft, gentle. "I'm sorry. Was it bad?"

"Lonely. Horribly lonely."

"That's too bad. Really," she says genuinely.
Oh my gosh! You wrote suitcase angst! *loves*

Lovely story. Wish I were half as inventive.

Best,

Caroline

Thank God Caroline bumped this up, I would have missed it otherwise.

ROTFL! So much fun! At first I thought it was Clark, then quickly discarded the idea... Could it be Lois's dog... but no, it was a suitcase!! ROTFL! What an original idea!

Very well done, MR! Some excellent lines, too. I had fun reading this! laugh

Oooh, goodie!!! Look! More fdk! dance

Caroline, Anna - thanks so much for the wonderful fdk. Glad you liked it.

It's funny the weird ideas that will pop into your head while you're sitting, waiting for your luggage to come around the carousel at the baggage claim. Ha ha.

Thanks again!
