Lois & Clark Forums Forums Fundraiser Fundraising Angel fund for our far away friends

I've been approached by several FoLCs who are concerned about international exchange rates and very expensive international shipping, or are experiencing hardship but still want to receive the very rare swag we are producing.

I've assured these people that they aren't forgotten and I had plans to include them.

A big part of those plans is the Help a FoLC angel item in the shop!

If you have some extra, put this item in your cart to help subsidize swag for your far away friends.

If you are a far away friend and would like to be included in the subsidy, email us at folcfundraiser@veritysvisions.com so we can help!

How the Angel fund will work:

If you wish to apply to receive angel funds, send a message to

folcfundraiser@veritysvisions.com

with the title Angel Fund Application and tell us about your situation. We (the fundraising committee) will chat with you there!

If you are hoping shipping will be subsidized, choose 'Buy my own shipping label' at checkout to remove the automatic shipping fee. Then transfer the amount of your order.

If you are hoping swag and shipping will be subsidized, do a regular checkout and don't transfer any money until we have worked through the disbursal process.

The committee (Me, kSara, JadedEvie, DarthMichael) will work with applicants to determine how the funds will best help! After the store closes on Sept 22 and we know how much funds we have, we will disburse the funds privately to prevent drama.

After funds have been disbursed, we will let all applicants know how much to transfer to complete their orders.

Note: All Angel Fund disbursements will be private to prevent drama, but we will let the community know how much was given to help your fellow FoLCs!

All the FoLCs have been amazingly generous in donating toward the angel fund. We the fundraising committee are just blown away. Thank you everyone!

It also means we still have plenty to distribute! If you've been eyeing swag but haven't figured out how to make it work, please apply now!
