It's been a little quiet here in the fundraising forum. I gotta admit, I'm a little lonely =(

Despite general calls for creators to make things for the fundraiser and especially for the Keepsake Collection, there have been very few people contacting me.

So, I've been contacting them instead! And since I know that knocking on a door and blindsiding FoLCs with a bright 'Hi! Wanna make something???" can leave people struggling to have ideas on what to make, I've been picking specific things for each of my friends. And guess what!? Most of them have said yes!

So far I'm getting 2 story sequels I've wanted for a long time,
My very own story written to a prompt I came up with (I'm used to assigning prompts, not making my own!),
And a video that might be to a song I picked!

As long as I've been in this Fandom (10 years, wow!) I've never had anything created for me. I've just enjoyed all the stories we already have and watch happily as everyone writes more for each other, because I get to read them too.

I'm finding that I'm really excited about all this. The items I've prompted will be in the Keepsake Collection. But yours don't have to be!

Go make a Request thread in the Auctions forum! Or challenge a friend to write you something for the Keepsake Collection too!

Hi, Verity. I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling lonely =( I wish I could help more somehow, but things are a little complicated for me lol. Well, as I mentioned a while back in the Discord group, one of my stories is already finished (the “what if” fic for Life In A Different World), but I still need to translate it to English. I should have completed the other story by now, but it just kept growing. I've written over 3000 words and still haven't managed to finish it. Soon I'll have to focus on another college assignment, but this one is a group project and isn't too complicated, so I don't think it will get in the way. I want to get the stories done as soon as possible so I can see if I'll have time to write and sell a short story based on a prompt from someone who's interested. But that depends on how long it takes me to finish them, and I'm not sure it will work out the way I'm imagining :p Anyway, I'll keep writing, and I'll send you messages to ask for your opinions

I think that's my problem, I want to help create something but I don't know what people want. So I'm having trouble coming up with something. Definitely open to requests

The only idea I can think of right now is a "what if" scenario for All Shook Up that I'd really love to read. Instead of being recognized as Clark when he's found with no memory, Clark is recognized as Superman. That means Clark is now the one who's missing, not Superman, and it could become the catalyst for Lois to realize her true feelings for her partner. It could also make Clark jealous of himself again, though this time from a completely different perspective
