Lois and Clark caught Myrtle Beech, The Wedding Destroyer, in the first half of Sesa-on One, probably in the fall between GGGoH and Honeymoon.
Myrtle Beech with the help of her grief therapist Dr. Voyle Grumman breaks out of prison, on a mission to destroy Lois and Clark’s wedding by killing Clark. She later switches her target to Lois.
Myrtle’s parents died when she was five. She inherited 200 million dollars which she got access to when she turned eighteen. She met Roger, an attorney who handled her estate. Roger died in a car crash on the way to their wedding. It lates turns out he was having an affair with Myrtle’s bridesmaid Emily. Later, Myrtle started interfering with weddings, let rats loose in a church, called in a bomb threat, sunk a boat. In to-tal, she disrupted about 20 weddings. 6 of the couples then sought out Dr. Grum-man.
Lois goes into bridezilla mode and attacks her under-siege wedding like a battle plan. She cancels the shower, the rehearsal, out-of-town brunch and rehearsal dinner, canceled. Reception to be determined.
Leo Nunk leeches on to Myrtle, so he can get a front row seat exclusive. He supplies surveillance information on Lois and Clark. Lois steals Nunks notes, finding out about his associations with Myrtle and Voyle. Myrtle and Voyle suspect Nunk is giving Lois and Clark information, try the electrocution wedding band on Nunk and in the pro-cess, Voyle accidently on purpose kills Nunk.
The lair of Myrtle and Voyle has a secret entrance and inside the secret lair there is a second secret room with filing cabinets. Dr. Grumman catches Lois in his lair. He lets her go because he needs Lois and Clark to have their wedding so he can manipulate Myrtle.
Dr. Grumman wants to create a creature driven solely by grief and pain.
Lois decides to set a wedding trap. They do the wedding with just them. Their par-ents and Perry and Jimmy demand to be there. Perry performs as the officiant at the fake wedding. Myrtle electrocutes Lois but Clark manages to talk Myrtle down from following through on killing Lois.
Perry asks Clark if he’s sure Superman’s around when it’s just him and Clark. This implies he does not yet know.
Lois and Clark get married thanks to divine intervention with their personal guardian angel “Mike”.
Lois and Clark’s marriage certificate is signed as “Mike A.M.G., a divine representa-tor”. Wedding date: Oct. 6th, 1996
Lois and Clark have their honeymoon planned in Hawai’i.
