As I mentioned in the
other thread, we are having a fundraiser this year and are looking for auction items!
If you are willing to donate skills, make a fanwork like a fan video, a story, fan art or even physical items, then we thank you!
To join, start a new thread in this forum with the title template: 2026FR - [Auction item name]
The body of the post should tell people what you are auctioning off, whether you are willing to customize it (like via prompts for a story or video, or colors for a knitted scarf, etc) and what the opening bid should be. All proceeds will be paid to the fandom to be used towards our expenses.
Notes:
ShippingIf the item is a physical item, then the winner should understand they will need to pay shipping, as that is an extra expense that won't be covered by the auction price. That can be expensive these days, but I have access to commercial rates for at least the contiguous US and perhaps more (I haven't tried that yet) which might be a little awkward to make happen but I'm willing to work it to help our fandom! If you are selling or win a physical item, I will work behind the scenes with you to get a prepaid shipping label to the seller.
Discord is my preferred way to handle this as it has many ways to do private messaging and even private group messaging, but we can also do email if needed. My email is in my profile here on the boards.
PrintingI have a fine art printer! If someone wants a print of an image that is part of this fundraiser then I will contribute ink and paper (the really good kinds) so anything paid for prints will go to the fandom. Prints will cost $5 for 8x10 and $10 for 11x14 (plus whatever shipping costs, as discussed above).
