December 18th
Thanks for a powerful story! Clark got lucky with Martha and Jonathan finding him and giving him a loving, caring home but the world unknowingly got lucky too. If anyone else had found Clark, he might not have grown up to be Superman. Clark really does spend his life trying to give others the same chance he was given. Superman also gives hope. Martha will grow up with the same love and care that her father did and even if she doesn’t have super powers, she’ll be remarkable too.

I know I sound like a broken record, but I really love this universe! Thank you!

Thanks for a lovely, beautiful story! Out of all the stories so far in this advent calendar, it’s my favorite. It made me melt and brought a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. The following resonated with me:

The last paragraph sums it up beautifully:

That reminds me of something Clark said in the show. About him being stronger with Lois than by himself. They’re walking together. A lovely concept. Thank you!

Thank you for a terrific chapter. Recognition is truly seeing someone and choosing to stay. It is a gift you give someone. It makes both of you stronger but I also think you have to be willing to let someone see you. It’s interesting. I love this story and universe!

That was scary. Lucky for that man that he actually never touched Lois or Martha. Superman is as fierce a protector as you can get, especially where his loved ones are concerned. The advent bag was quite appropriate for the day. Thank for another terrific story! I love it!

Thank you for a beautiful and touching story! I love it! Jor-El and Lara would be so proud of the man Clark has become.
He’s kept the Kryptonian light alive and has passed it on.

That’s so lovely! Martha will be as blessed as Clark to grow up surrounded by both lights.

What a beautiful end to this Advent Calendar! It made me misty eyed. What Lois wrote to Clark is very touching. Clark was truly blessed to have been found by Jonathan and Martha. He probably would not be the man he is today if he had been found by someone else.

Being human wasn’t something he inherited. It was something he chose, every single day.

That’s so lovely. Thank you! I’m glad I finished this while it was still December but I’m sad it’s over. I loved every word that you wrote and I can’t thank you enough for the happiness you gifted me. If you have the time and desire, I hope you do this again next year!
