Lois & Clark Forums Forums General Discussion SuperWriMo 90stvfangirl - October 2025

Okay, my goals are pretty small but still goals!

My main goal for the month will be to finish all the little ficlets I have started and abandoned at some point. Some might just need a once over and polish and some might just need a paragraph or two or the ending written. I just want them out of my google docs. I don't know if I should toss out a number to complete. Maybe 5? Maybe 10? There is a lot. I will have a look today at what I think is doable.

My other goal is to work on longer stories I have also abandoned (a theme...) due to writers block or loss of interest (even though I really wanna finish them!)

I will keep a relatively small goal of 1500 words a week. Just because some fics really only do need a line or two and leave the rest for bigger projects and not put too much pressure on myself and keep it doable.

Will try and write 3 days a week!

Good luck to everyone else!

Nothing wrong with small, doable goals that you actually want to do!

I think one of the weaknesses of NaNo is that there was only a single, huge goal. That's why I wanted to emphasize that SuperWriMo is just setting goals and then meeting them!

Made my first weekly goal in 2 days... 1488 words one day and 53 today. 1541 words total.
Guess I can slack off the rest of the week......

Nice! Ride that wave! (or edit it, haha)

Oof. Relatable. 😩

But yay for already hitting your goal for the week!! 🥳

LOL!!!! also NICE!!!! Keep it up! (Or...slack off and pick back up next week! LOL)

You're on a roll!

Yay to finishing old WIPs

I should expect to write with you tonight (my tonight and your day), yeah??

Glad to see you've got that first week goal locked in early! 😁

Week one down and I have 2847 words.

It's still the 7th so maybe I can squeeze out another 153 words tonight
and then I can say I have done double my word count for week one. We'll see....

Week one ended up being 3001 words.

Week two, I think I’m done for the day so I’m going to leave it at 1620 words.

Happy I got over my target for the week. Will I ever use what I have written? Who knows. 😃

Nice going! And the point is less if you're going to actually use it and more that you got it onto the page! Can't edit (or toss) if nothing is there =)

Ending this week only having written 1081 words and also started a whole new story.

So in total after three weeks (if my maths is correct) I am at 5702 words which is still more than my 1500 words per week goal.

Haha for the new story coming to bite you! Things do be like that sometimes!

Great job!

Woohoo!! Keep it up!

Ending the last week with 1493 words. 7 words under my weekly goal (I just didn't have seven more words in me, haha).

But adding that to my previous weeks 5702 words, I did 7195 words total for the month which was over my 1500 words a week goal.

Now to read over everything that was written and see if it's actually coherent and usable.

Yay! Congratulations!
